Project Overview

Construction is beginning on our next roadside beautification project along 7000 South, just east of 1300 West. Work will continue through the remainder of the year and will include occasional lane closures while improvements are completed.

This project is designed to enhance one of West Jordan’s main entrances by adding new landscaping, decorative retaining walls, colorful ground covers, and a water-wise planting design that is both attractive and sustainable. Once complete, the improvements will create a more welcoming gateway to the city while reducing long-term water use and maintenance needs.

Project Updates:

July 2026:

Lane closures will begin the week of July 6th. Expect delays. One lane in each direction will remain open throughout the duration of this project. Lane closures will be in effect between 8:45 AM and 3:30 PM Monday through Friday.
