For the West Jordan City Council, the annual municipal budget process is a complex balancing act that transforms community values into public policy. Running on a July 1 to June 30 fiscal year, the process requires intensive coordination, financial prudence, and transparent governance to safeguard public funds.
The budget cycle shifts into high gear in May when the Mayor presents his budget proposal to the City Council.
