The FY 2027 tentative budget includes a proposed tax rate increase. Details are available in the Property Tax Impact Schedule. Full budget documents can be found on the budget page. A Public hearing will be held during the City Council meeting on Aug. 11.

Construction is underway at Veterans Memorial Park as two new mini pitch fields are being added at 1985 W 7800 S. A mini pitch is a small, hard-surfaced soccer space designed for quick, informal games—making it easy for players of all ages and skill levels to jump in and play.

These new fields will provide a fun, accessible place for the community to stay active, practice skills, and connect through the game. Construction is expected to be complete in summer 2026. During this time, some areas of the park may be temporarily closed. We appreciate your patience as we bring this exciting addition to the park!
