The next Municipal Election will be held this year (2025). The following seats are up for election:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Important Dates to Keep in Mind:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • June 2 – June 6: Candidate Declaration Filing Dates. Monday – Friday at West Jordan City Hall, 8000 S. Redwood Rd. 8 AM – 5 PM<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • August 1: Voter registration deadline for the Primary election<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • August 12: Primary Election Day<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • August 26: Board of Canvassers certifies Primary results<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • October 14: Ballots mailed to all active voters <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • October 24: Voter registration deadline for General election<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • November 4: General Election Day<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • November 18: Board of Canvassers certifies General results <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      There’s a New Ballot Drop-Off Box in West Jordan!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      We’re excited to announce the arrival of a brand-new Ballot Drop-Off Box in West Jordan!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      What It Can Be Used For:
      – Securely Returning Your Ballots
      – Promoting Voter Participation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      What It Cannot Be Used For:
      – General Mail, Utility bills, or Packages: Please note that the Ballot Drop-Off Box is strictly designated for ballot submission purposes only.
      – Late Ballot Submission: Remember, the Ballot Drop-Off Box is not a solution for submitting ballots after the designated deadline. Make sure to submit your completed ballots before the specified cut-off time to ensure your vote is counted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Location:
      This new ballot box can be found in the north parking lot of Ron Wood Park (5900 W New Bingham Hwy.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The location for the other drop box in West Jordan is located at 8000 S. Redwood Rd. in the parking lot of City Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
