Go Behind the Scenes of West Jordan

Have you ever wondered how the City of West Jordan operates behind the scenes? The City invites residents to apply for the upcoming Citizen Academy, an interactive program designed to connect you with the people, departments, and decisions that keep our community running.

The Citizen Academy will meet every Wednesday from March 11 through May 6, from 5:30–8:00 p.m. Each session offers a hands-on look at City services and operations, with opportunities to ask questions, participate in activities, and engage directly with City leaders and staff.

What Participants Will Experience

· Hands-on activities with different City departments

· Direct conversations with City leadership and staff

· A chance to meet the people who serve West Jordan every day

· Insight into the challenges and opportunities of managing a city of West Jordan’s size and complexity

Important Registration Information

Space in the Citizen Academy is limited, and preference will be given to residents who sign up first. To ensure a meaningful experience for all participants, attendees must be able to commit to at least six of the nine weekly sessions.

How to Sign Up

Residents interested in participating should contact jeff.mulcahy@westjordan.utah.gov as soon as possible to request a spot.

We look forward to sharing this unique, behind-the-scenes look at West Jordan with our residents and continuing to build an informed and engaged community.
