Spring To-Do’s in West Jordan: Quick Ways to Help Your Neighborhood

Cherry blossom tree with branches full of pale pink flowers against a clear blue sky, capturing a serene and tranquil springtime scene.

As spring arrives, there are a few simple things you can do to help keep West Jordan clean, safe, and running smoothly.

Adopt (or Check) a Storm Drain
Storm drains in West Jordan flow directly to the Jordan River, so keeping them clear of leaves, trash, and debris helps prevent flooding and protects water quality. Even just checking the drain near your home after a storm can make a difference.

Trim Trees for Street Sweeping
Street sweepers will be out clearing over 900 miles of curb and gutter across the city each year. Make sure trees and branches in park strips are trimmed to allow about 15 feet of clearance so crews can clean effectively.

Report What You See
Pothole? Broken sign? Streetlight out? The City encourages residents to report issues they notice so crews can respond quickly and keep neighborhoods in good shape.

Participate in upcoming Dumpster Day & E-Waste Events
As we tidy up the city, we invite residents to join us in our cleanup efforts.
