Project Overview:
We heard you West Jordan! After gathering community feedback, we have drafted proposed designs for Ron Wood Park featuring expanded play areas, walking trails, and multi-use fields. Beginning this winter and moving into early spring, we will start construction on this project. This expansion plans to include large multi-use fields, an artificial turf field with lighting, two additional restrooms, additional parking, two pavilions, and a pump house and well. Construction is planned for February 2026. Project completion is TBD.

June 2026:
Irrigation work and sprinklers continues progress.
Power installation beginning.
Roofs of restrooms and pavilions added and are nearing completion.
Sidewalks poured and curb formation in progress.
May 2026:
Sidewalks are being prepared and will be poured in early June.
Restroom and pavilion structures have added floors and walls to structures.
Irrigation work and sprinklers added around smaller sections of the park.
Water and sewer utility lines installed.
April 2026:
Conduit is getting laid. Storm drain is being installed.
March 2026:
Construction on the footings for the Wheels Park bathroom and walls for the South side bathroom will begin over the next few weeks.
February 2026:
Construction will begin on the week of February 12th with construction trucks arriving starting on Thursday, February 15th.
Work hours will typically be Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Nearby residents and businesses can expect increased noise, dust, and vibration during work hours.
