West Jordan Sustainability Committee

The West Jordan Sustainability Committee advises the Mayor and City Council on policies pertaining to sustainable environmental practices.

Members of the Sustainability Committee meet the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m., often via Zoom, to discuss issues like:

  • Waste reduction/recycling
  • Water conservation
  • Air quality and open space

The Sustainability Committee operates the West Jordan Community Market, the first Tuesday of each month from 5-8 p.m., at Ron Wood Park, May through September.
