Welcome to West Jordan! Whether you’re buying, renting, or selling a home, we’re here to help you get your utilities set up and manage your service smoothly. 

Buying a Home 

When you purchase a home in West Jordan, you’ll need to complete a Utility Application to set up your city services.

Renting a Home 

Utility accounts in West Jordan must remain in the property owner’s name. 

It is the owner or property manager’s responsibility to provide billing information to tenants. 

The homeowner is responsible for any outstanding balances on the account. 

If you are renting out your property, please complete the Tenant Bill Request Form to have a courtesy copy of the bill sent to your tenant.

Once processed, tenants will receive a copy of the bill in their name while the account remains in the homeowner’s name. 

Tenants are able to pay online through the Tenant Payment Portal

If you are going to have a management company take care of your rental property, please complete the Property Management Authorization Form.

Selling a Home

Notify Customer Service
Contact West Jordan Customer Service (801-569-5000) and provide your closing date along with your forwarding address.

Final Meter Reading
The Water Department will read your meter to calculate your final utility charges.

Account Closure
Once payment is received from the title company, your utility account will be officially closed.

Final Bill or Refund
You will receive either a final bill or a refund check by mail at your forwarding address.

Billing Information 

There are several options available to pay your bill. 

Sign In – Homeowners can manage their accounts online by creating an Invoice Cloud Account.
Account Search – Homeowners can locate accounts online with Account number and Customer ID.
Pay by Automated Phone System – 801-569-5000 – Option #1
Mail – Check or Money order to 8000 S. Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84088 
In Person – Come to West Jordan City Hall located at 8000 S. Redwood Rd 

West Jordan also offers a convenient Equal Payment Plan after you have 12 months of billing history at your new address.

Delinquent Accounts & Service Disconnection 

Water service may be disconnected for accounts that: 
Have a delinquent balance for more than two (2) consecutive billing periods. 

Garbage only service may by disconnected for accounts that: 
Owe $125.00 or more. 

To restore service: 
Pay a $100 service fee.
Bring the account current.

Parks

West Jordan has over 50 unique parks all across the city. 

West Jordan’s outdoor reservation system runs from April 1st to the second Saturday in October. 

Reservations for each calendar year can be made beginning January 2nd.

Reserve a Pavilion, Meeting Room, or Building

West Jordan offers a variety of different venues for reservation.

Want to reserve a space at the new Canyon View Credit Union Community and Arts Center or the historic Pioneer Hall for your upcoming celebration?

Pioneer Hall reservations can be made 365 days in advance. 

Police 

West Jordan is home to one of the safest communities in Utah thanks to the efforts of our Police Department and Police Chief Jeremy Robertson.  

Our Police Department is located on 8040 S. Redwood Road West Jordan, UT 84088.

The West Jordan Fire Department prides itself on its professional and efficient service to protect residents from fire, medical, and other risks to life and property. Led by Fire Chief, Derek Maxfield, the Fire Department has been serving West Jordan residents for over 25 years.
