With the generous assistance of Utah’s philanthropic community, we can all take a stand against domestic violence. This impactful event will raise funds to support South Valley Services’ efforts to provide shelter and supportive services for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors.

The keynote speaker is Janine Latus. She is the author of the international bestseller If I am Missing or Dead: A Sister’s Story of Love, Murder, and Liberation, which tells the story of two sisters who fall victim to angry and controlling partners. One breaks free and thrives; the other is murdered by her live-in boyfriend. Janine is the sister who survived. Now, she speaks around the world on the spectrum of sexual assault and intimate partner violence, to the United States Navy, universities, shelters, Major League Baseball, and corporations because the idea that ‘what happens in the home stays in the home’ is getting people killed. Instead, she advocates for people to talk, to tell their stories, and to thus free others to tell theirs.

You’ll meet like-minded people and have the opportunity to engage and contribute your ideas and donations alongside SVS’ heartfelt efforts to help domestic violence survivors in our community through lifesaving services.
