Mayor’s Message – December 2025

Hello West Jordan!

Mayor Burton here, sliding into December with a whole lot of excitement (while staying upright on the ice!).

As snow season settles in, thank you for driving carefully, giving yourself extra time, and avoiding parking on the street during storms so our plow crews can do their thing. Speaking of plows…our newly named fleet is officially ready to clear the way and slay the snow! Keep an eye out for legends like Darth Blader, Plowabunga, and You’re Killin’ me Squalls! as they cruise through our neighborhoods and keep our streets safe and clear.

Did you know all of our snow plows now include GPS to help make sure every street gets attention? You can find that live map here.

This Friday is our big holiday event at the Viridian! We’ll have drone shows, treats, music, and a very special guest.. Santa himself! Come help us kick off the holiday season, I can’t wait to see you there and shre some holiday cheer!
