Record-Breaking Snowfall in West Jordan

Last week’s storm brought record-breaking snow fall to our city.

That snow storm impacted garbage pick-up, snowed-in a majority of our residents, and caused a messy commute for drivers. Thank you for being patient with us while we worked to clear roads. While it did take us a minute, we were able to plow any missed neighborhood roads thanks to your submitted requests on our online request form.

While more snow is expected, it’s not forecasted to dump nearly as much as last week.
Here are 3 things you need to know:

  1. Garbage pick-up is not expected to be impacted with these latest storms. If your trash or recycling isn’t picked up on your designated garbage day, please fill out our missed trash form. Please note that you must fill out the form twice if you are reporting a missed garbage can and recycling can.
  2. Snow Plows will be out as soon as snow starts sticking to the road.
  3. If there is any emergency notification for residents, it will be sent out via email or text message.
