New Bingham Highway – Sewer Line Work

Important Notice: Construction Work will cause noise and vibrations in some neighborhoods.

What to Expect:
Construction + Boring:

  • Starting the week of October 30th, crews will be digging under the nearby railroad track to place a large pipe. View the map on the back of this flyer.
  • Boring is a crucial drilling technique in construction because it allows for the installation of vital infrastructure while minimizing disruption to the surface of the road.

Noise and Vibrations:

  • During the boring process, please be prepared for:
    • Noise: You may hear significant noise.
    • Vibrations: Vibrations might be noticeable in the vicinity.
  • Work Hours: This construction work is scheduled during daytime hours and is not expected at night.

How long will it take?
The boring work in this area is expected to last 6-7 days.

September 2023

Starting Monday, September 11th Copper Hills Parkway (New Bingham Hwy) will be closed between Airport Rd and 7800 S. This closure is expected to last 3-5 days. Please use alternate routes and follow posted signage.

July 2023

Starting Monday, July 17th, crews will close Grizzly Way moving through the intersection on New Bingham Highway for part of the week. Detours are in place, if drivers can avoid the area they are being asked to please do so, as crews will be working in the road.

Rolfe Construction is replacing a sewer line along New Bingham Highway (Copper Hills Parkway).

Rolfe Construction is replacing a sewer line along New Bingham Highway (Copper Hills Parkway). The work is starting between 7800 South and Airport Road and moving along New Bingham Highway (Copper Hills Parkway) ending at the front of Copper Hills High School.

Drivers can expect some closures and alternate routes to be in place, please follow posted signage and drive slowly through the area. This work is expected to take a couple months as weather permits.
