Simple Ways to Serve

September 11 was declared the National Day of Service and Remembrance in honor of the innocent victims of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

West Jordan City invites everyone, from young to old, to give time or donations to local projects during our own days of service this year, Thursday Sept 11 through Saturday Sept 13.

We are teaming up with partners around the community, and will have opportunities such as meal delivery and graffiti cleanup.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to come together and support one another,” says Glori Buchei, West Jordan’s Community Outreach Coordinator. “Now more than ever, our world needs kindness and connection, neighbors helping neighbors.”

The volunteer opportunities will be available for sign-up on JustServe.org, where you can get more details about the activities available and what you will need to participate.
