Street Sweeping
City-owned streets are swept annually, some streets are swept more frequently. Please keep trees trimmed in park strips, sweepers require 15-feet clearance.

Sidewalk Reimbursement Program
Have a damaged sidewalk that needs repair? West Jordan’s Sidewalk Reimbursement Program helps residents and business owners cover the cost of fixing hazardous sidewalks in front of their property.
Here’s how it works:
- Get an inspection first. Contact Public Works so we can check your sidewalk’s condition. Please be sure to include your name, address, and other information to contact you. Please note your sidewalk must have a deficiency rating of 5 or worse to qualify.
- Apply before starting work. We can’t reimburse you for repairs that were done before an application was approved.
- Get a bid and complete the work. Repairs must meet City Engineering Standards.
- Pass the final inspection. Once the work is inspected and approved, you can receive reimbursement.
Reimbursement amount:
- $7.50 per square foot of sidewalk replaced
- Up to $3,000 per property (contingent on allocated budget)
