Mayor’s Message – February 2026
February may be the shortest month of the year, but it’s a good reminder of how meaningful small moments can be! This time of year, a simple check-in with a neighbor, a kind word, or a helping hand can go a long way.
Little things mean a lot.
One of the things that makes our city such a special place is how people look out for each other. Whether it’s helping a neighbor with groceries, supporting a local business, or taking a moment to say “thank you” to someone who serves our community. These everyday acts of kindness strengthen the connections that bring us together.
As we move through the rest of this month, let’s look out for each other. It’s that sense of care of community that makes our city not just a place to live, but a place to belong.
I am proud to be a West Jordan resident because it means I am part of the best community!
Sincerely,
Mayor Dirk Burton
