What to Expect and How to Avoid Ticket Scams

West Jordan’s annual Monster Truck Rally is just around the corner, revving up for an action-packed Saturday on September 16th. To ensure you make the most of this exciting event, we’ve put together everything you need to know, from the thrilling highlights to how to steer clear of potential ticket scams.

Event Highlights:

The festivities kick off at 5:30 PM when the gates open for the Pit Party. This is your opportunity to get up close and personal with the mammoth monster trucks and meet the fearless drivers themselves. The best part? There’s no additional fee for Pit Party access. Feel the adrenaline surge as you step inside a monster truck for a thrilling ride during the Pit Party – it’s just $15.00. If you miss your chance during the Pit Party, fear not; you can still snag a ride after the show. Cash or card payments are accepted at the monster truck merchandise tent within the arena.

The main event begins at 7 PM. The show promises an unforgettable experience, complete with a variety of food truck options, refreshing drinks, and beer available for sale inside the arena. Please note that beer sales are card-only.

Ticket Information:

Tickets can be conveniently purchased online by following this link. Alternatively, you can buy them on the day of the event at the box office.

Speaking of tickets, it’s essential to be vigilant, as ticket scams have become increasingly common. Here are some tips to protect yourself from falling victim:

  1. Purchase from Verified Sources: Only buy tickets from the official West Jordan website listed above. Avoid purchasing from secondary or third-party websites. When in doubt, stick to the trusted and verified website.
  2. Trust Your Instincts: If you encounter an individual online whom you don’t know, attempting to sell you tickets, trust your instincts. If something feels off, it’s best to walk away from the transaction.

To report suspicious activity or potential scams, please visit the Division of Consumer Protection of Utah’s website. You can also reach out to them directly by calling 801-530-6601.
