Course Rules
- Just like traditional golf, the goal of disc golf is to complete each hole in the fewest strokes (throws) possible.
- Start at the tee. This is the start of each hole. Only throw when pedestrians are clear.
- Start your next throw right behind where your disc landed. This is called the “lie.”
- You can take a running start for your throw, but you must release the disc before stepping past the lie.
- If your disc goes out of bounds, play from either the last in-bounds location or go back to the tee. Add one throw to your score.
- When you are within about 10 meters (33 feet) of the basket, this is called putting. When putting, you may not step past your lie.
- You finish when the disc lands in the basket, not on top of it.
- The player with the lowest score on the previous hole goes first.
Accessibility
50% of the course is wheelchair accessible with grass and sidewalk. The other 50% is on manicured rock and brush on hills. See photos for more information.
